planet:health convenes unconferences as decentralised spaces for cross-disciplinary inquiry into planetary wellbeing.

since 2022, we have hosted 1-2 unconferences per year, across different contexts, including in pop-up formats embedded within larger gatherings and field sites. these events bring together practitioners, researchers, technologists, artists, community leaders, and Indigenous knowledge holders to examine health and the environment, past and future, as an interconnected, multi-scalar system.

unconferences enable participants to surface emerging questions, share domain expertise, and prototype ideas without predetermined hierarchies or fixed agendas. each gathering functions as a temporary ecosystem for collective intelligence, generating insights, relationships, and experiments that feed into our wider work.
